All consumers cut off power due to glaze ice reconnected to grid
All consumers who were disconnected from power due to the glaze ice over the past few days were reconnected to the grid during last night.
Minister of Energy Dorin Junghietu thanked the engineers who worked in the field so that all citizens could have electricity and heat in the homes.
“By 6 a.m., all consumers who had been disconnected from power due to the glaze ice of recent days were reconnected to the grid. Thank you all for your understanding and patience. We express our respect to the engineers who worked non-stop so that all citizens could have electricity and heat in their homes,” said Dorin Junghietu.
Yesterday evening, more than 2,100 consumers were affected by emergency outages in the electricity network caused by the bad weather. These were localities in the north, center and south of the country.
Teams intervened in the field to remedy the situation and ensure the provision of electricity to all consumers.
Yesterday, no incidents were recorded in the electricity transmission system.
