As many as 1,511 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/- A number of 7,053 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,511 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 4 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 468,782 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 34 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (12 physicians, 13 medical assistants, 9 auxiliary staff employees).
As many as 2,428 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 101 are in extremely serious condition and 9 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 25,930 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 23,464 are under supervision at ho+me.
Another 3,094 people have been treated. As many as 410,233 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 8 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 10,776 people have died of coronavirus in all.
