As many as 265 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,226 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 265 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 156,202 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 16 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –4, medical assistants –7 and auxiliary staff -5.
A number of 2,110 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 221 are in extremely serious condition (46 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 3,418 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 16,455 are under supervision at the domicile.
Another 542 people have been treated. As many as 146,948 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 14 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 3,361 people have died of coronavirus in all.
