As many as 331 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,257 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 331 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 82,677 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 14 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –6, medical assistants –4, auxiliary staff employees –4.
The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 896 are in serious condition, of whom 45 patients are connected to assisted breathing. A number of 1,554 patients are in medium seriousness condition and the other patients are in satisfactory condition.
In the context, 4,118 people are treated at home with easy forms of COVID-19 and 25,759 are under supervision at the domicile.
Another 1,138 persons were treated and discharged from hospitals. As many as 63, 646 people have been healed of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 19 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,912 people dead of coronavirus in all. The virus killed another medical employee – a 63-year-old woman, who worked as medical assistant of the medical recovery and physical medicine service at the Botanica municipal enterprise of public health.
So far, 51 medical employees have died because of the COVID-19 infection.
