Chisinau, 23 November /MODPRES/- Chisinau Municipal Council approved today, by a majority of votes, the twinning agreement between Chisinau and Suceava.
The twinning agreement between the two municipalities involves joint actions in the field of implementation of cross-border projects, and the financing of projects that will be implemented jointly.
The head of the External Relations Department of the Chisinau City Hall, Diana Guritenco, said that the Suceava administration asked Chisinau officials to specify which projects can be carried out jointly with the financial support of the Romanian Ministry of Development.
According to the decision adopted by the majority of municipal councilors, the concrete projects will be established later, based on financial priorities and availabilities.
