Chisinau, 27 May /MOLDPRES/ - The News Editorial Staff today morning spread a piece of news titled, ‘’The governance is set to liquidate the Moldpres News Agency.’’ Certain excerpts from the concerned text were due to the interpretation of the fact that the draft new Status of the Agency contains no reference to the activity of news’ editing. Given this, we come up with the following specifications: the concerned document is in phase of draft, worked out by the State Chancellery and submitted to the Agency for consultation and issuing opinion. The conclusions from the story were erroneous.

We mention that the proposals and objections of the Agency on the concept and edited version of the draft new Status are to be submitted to the Chancellery according to the request.
