Chisinau, August 11 /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the state tax law were published in the Official Journal and will enter into force on January 1, 2024.
Among the provisions of the project is setting the notion of "stamp duty" - the amount charged to the court account from private people and legal entities for all civil cases of administrative litigation, as well as for appeals against the reports and the decisions of the ascertaining agents in contravention processes. According to the authors, this tax will prevent the abusive filing of claims in court.
Also, the amounts of the state tax will be adjusted and the collection percentage of the state tax will be changed. At the same time, the state fee for certain court applications will be increased, so that people facing a dispute, which can be resolved more simply and quickly out of court, will be more motivated to do so.
