
Head of State celebrated important event with inhabitants of Bravicea village
Chisinau, Aug. 11 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan President Maia Sandu participated today in Hramul Căruțașilor, a traditional festival in Bravicea, Calarasi district.
"I wished the villagers good health and congratulated them for so beautifully promoting the cultural values of our nation. The village of Bravicea continues to develop, thanks to people who work for the common good. Through the European Village program, the water supply network has been extended here and investment is to be made in the sports hall and the village gymnasium. Together we can preserve peace and good understanding and improve living conditions in each locality", the Head of State wrote on website.
In addition to the artistic program, visitors had the opportunity to participate in recreational activities such as archery and horse and carriage rides.
It is a project of Bravicea city hall, initiated since 2017 in partnership with public institutions, sponsors, community members. It aims to promote and encourage the breeding of horses in rural areas, the return to the sources of ancestral crafts.
