 
                        
                                        International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to have delegation in Moldova
Chisinau, Nov. 9 /MOLDPRES/- Today parliament ratified the agreement between Moldova and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
The agreement sees that the IFRC will be able to establish the headquarters for a delegation in Moldova and will benefit from the same privileges and immunities as all international organizations with an office in our country.
Thus, it will be able to contract, acquire and dispose of movable and immovable property in our country. At the same time, the Republic of Moldova undertakes to facilitate the humanitarian activities of the Federation and to guarantee the inviolability of the headquarters, assets, as well as fiscal and customs facilities.
The IFRC activity is oriented towards preparing for any disasters, reacting to crises, protecting health, protecting vulnerable people.
