
Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/- Pupils across the country marked today the last day of the school year 2018-2019.
In a congratulatory message, Minister of Education, Culture and Research Monica Babuc said that traditionally, the last ringing bell marks the end of the school year. "I congratulate you for the academic effort, resulted in precious acquisitions, skills and attitudes you have developed in collaboration with your fellows and teachers. I believe this school year has contributed fully to spiritual growth, motivating you to become responsible citizens of the Republic of Moldova with respect for oneself and for others. "
"In particular, I want to address graduates of primary and secondary education, and I wish them success, perseverance, self-confidence and determination in achieving their own career project,” Babuc said.
According to data by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, the event lasted about an hour. This year, 17754 young people graduated from high school.
