DOC // Published in Official Journal. Moldova to have national crisis management system
The Republic of Moldova will have a national crisis management system. The decree of promulgation and the Law on Crisis Management were published in the Official Journal today.
The document provides for the creation of the National Crisis Management Center, an institution under the Prime Minister's authority, which will coordinate activities at the national level.
Additionally, the National Crisis Management Commission will be set up, composed of ministers, heads of public authorities, and other responsible officials, depending on the specific nature of the crisis.
The document aims to harmonize national legislation with European standards in the field. The new law will come into effect on 1 September 2025.
