Moldovan deputy PM on visit to Brussels; accession agenda, regional security on discussions' agenda

Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi is on a working visit to Brussels, Belgium, on July 14-15. The Moldovan diplomacy head will have discussions with foreign ministers from EU member states during the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union, at an invitation by the High Representative.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), Mihai Popsoi will discuss  Moldova's EU accession agenda, the regional security context, new opportunities for cooperation with the EU on security and strengthening resilience against hybrid threats.

At the same time, Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi will have bilateral meetings with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, as well as more foreign ministers from EU member states.

Also, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi will participate in the meeting of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee and will have meetings with members of the European Parliament from various political groups.

On July 15, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi will meet a group of Moldovan citizens residing in Brussels.
