Moldova's public television has new leadership: Ecaterina Covali appointed director of Moldova 1 TV station
The public television has a new leadership starting from today. Ecaterina Covali will manage all editorial and administrative activities related to Moldova 1 and Moldova 2 TV stations. Director General of the Teleradio-Moldova Company Vlad Turcanu has made statements to this effect.
According to the cited source, Covali will be assisted in her activities by Dorin Scobioala, who takes over the position of general producer. He will coordinate all televised programmes, exclusively the news ones.
“I wish both of them maximum involvement and success. We all came to TRM to achieve performance,” declared Vlad Turcanu. He emphasized the new team's commitment to developing high-quality media products, which show the social, economic and political realities in the country in a balanced manner.
Ecaterina Covali is a journalist and television producer, having previously held leadership positions at private TV stations.
