Moldovan cabinet to assist families of firefighters dead in fire in central district

Chisinau, 3 December /MOLDPRES/ - The families of firefighters, who died in the fire in central Telenesti town on 26 November, will receive assistance from the state. The cabinet took a decision to this effect today.

The aid provided to families of the two dead firefighters will amount to 100,000 lei each. At the same time, another three employees of Civil Protection and Emergency Situations, who were injured in the fire, will receive assistance worth 25,000 lei each. The total amount allocated on this purpose from the government’s reserve fund is 275,000 lei.

A fire broke out at a construction materials shop in Telenesti on 26 November, in the wake of which two firefighters died and another three were injured.
