Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s citizens can ask for the issuance of the criminal record, detailed criminal record and the contraventional one through the MDelivery platform. The service will provide the delivery of the document both in Moldova and abroad.

At a today’s event on the launch of the service, Interior Minister Ana Revenco said that the initiative was part of the strategy of digitalization and development of the institution.

„We are happy that we have managed to achieve this goal, as the issuance of the criminal record is one of the most demanded services. We are set, in the next two years, to implement at least 30 digitalized services – the most demanded ones by citizens. For the moment, 13 have been already successfully created. On the next period, we intend to digitalize the process of documenting the contraventions, extending the service of video monitoring on the national roads and quickly processing the information. To implement these objectives, we need modern equipment; therefore, we are in process of dialogue with the partners, in order to receive support to this end,’’ Ana Revenco.

For her part, the director of the Electronic Governance Agency, Olga Tumuruc, said that MDelivery was a model digital platform which connects providers of public services with the ones of postal services and facilitates the access of private people and legal entities to the getting of documents.

„The price of the service of delivery in Moldova is of 30 lei and abroad – about 100 lei. Starting from 1 June 2022, over 600 acts have been delivered through MDelivery. At the same time, in last October – when the service was tested, over 120 criminal records were delivered, including abroad. We assure our citizens that all personal data is observed within the operations,’’ Tumuruc stressed.

The criminal record can be demanded by accessing the website www.servicii.gov.md.
