Moldovan citizens encouraged to choose local products in context of Easter Holidays
Citizens are encouraged to choose local products in the context of the Easter Holidays, thus supporting local entrepreneurs and the development of the economy in general.
“A recommendation from all of us is to opt for local products, which have been manufactured in our country and to encourage all those close to you, friends, family, to consume products grown in Moldova or manufactured in our country. We have enough, quality products with authentic taste and can enjoy them while supporting small and medium-sized businesses, thus maintaining the holiday spirit and helping the country's economy,” said the government’s spokesperson, Daniel Voda.
Ahead of the Easter Holidays, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry launched a campaign to promote local products. According to the institution, every choice in favor of local products means support for rural communities and the national economy.
“The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry reminds how important each choice is. Just as in December we encouraged to ‘Choose local’ for the Christmas meal, we return now with the same thought: to support our farmers and promote local products. Each choice in favor of local products means support for rural communities and the national economy. At Easter and throughout the year, let’s choose local products. Out of pride, out of respect, out of love for our close people,” the press service of the Agriculture Ministry informed.
A similar campaign was also organized in the context of the winter holidays.
