
Moldovan president conveys message on International Labour Day
Your work ensures continuity, safety and trust in each community and thanks to the efforts you make, we have hope for a better future - here, at home, in Moldova. President Maia Sandu today conveyed a message to this effect, on the occasion of International Labor Day.
The head of state expressed gratitude to all those who perform their work, day by day, for the good of the community.
‘’On the International Workers' Solidarity Day, we thank those who, through their daily work, make hospitals, schools, factories, enterprises, public transport, state institutions and cultural institutions work well. Your work ensures continuity, safety and trust in each community and thanks to the efforts you make, we have hope for a better future - here, at home, in Moldova,’’ said Maia Sandu.
Moldova marks International Labor Day today. The holiday is dedicated to recognizing the efforts and contributions of each worker to the development of the country.
Among the countries celebrating Labor Day, there are Belgium, Canada, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Spain, Turkey and others.
