
Moldovans holding diplomatic and service passports to travel visa-free to India
Chisinau, July 3 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan citizens holding diplomatic and service passports will be able to travel to India without visas. The foreign policy and European integration commission approved an agreement to this effect today.
Thus, diplomatic and service passports' holders will be able to travel or transit through India without the need for a visa for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Indian citizens holding diplomatic and service passports who wish to travel to the Republic of Moldova will benefit from the same facilities.
The agreement between the Moldovan and Indian governments on the abolition of the visa regime for diplomatic and service passports' holders was signed in New Delhi on May 10, 2024 and is to be concluded for an indefinite period.
