
More than 6,400 people benefit from free of charge services within A Doctor for You programme in Moldova in last February
Chisinau, 2 March /MOLDPRES/ - The women’s population of the southern Ceadar-Lunga district on 2-6 March will benefit from free of charge services of breast screening through digital radiography.
At the same time, this week, stomatological medical services will be provided to children from the villages of Varzaresti, Valea-Trestieni, Milesti and Cioresti, central Nisporeni district, sources from the Health, Labour and Social protection Ministry have said.
On 3 March, mobile teams of physicians are to move to the eastern Dubasari district, to provide screening services through lung radiography. The mobile radiological equipment will be placed at the temporary Placement Centre for elderly and disabled people from the Cocieri village.
Also on 3 March, teams of physicians cardiologists, endocrinologists, ophthalmologists and neurologists will provide free of charge medical consultations to residents from Glodeni, Health Centres of Limbenii Vechi and Sturzovca.
In February 2020, 3,551 residents from the villages of the central Telenesti and Criuleni districts benefited from targeted screening through lung radiography and as many as 2,870 children from the central Orhei district benefited from stomatological services.
