Over 200 schools hold online classes due to weather conditions
A total of 219 schools are holding online classes on 5 February, due to bad weather conditions. The Ministry of Education and Research presented the data today.
Another eight institutions are operating in a mixed format, with both in-person and online attendance.
At the same time, 874 educational institutions are operating with physical presence, 73 educational institutions are holding classes in person starting from 9:00 a.m., and six educational institutions will make up the missed classes at a later date.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, local public authorities and educational institutions will assess the situation daily and will make decisions that ensure and protect the safety of children, teachers and school staff.
