Road workers are deployed in the field and are continuously intervening with machinery and anti-skid material to ensure road traffic. At present, road traffic on national public roads is operating under winter conditions.
According to the National Road Administration (AND), workers are acting with priority on sections with an increased risk of skidding, and the situation is monitored nonstop.
Currently, the territorial units of Joint Stock Company “Drumuri” are intervening on several sections to maintain traffic conditions in winter. These include: Soroca sector – G12, km 36: snow removal works; R30, Ștefan Vodă, km 70: clearing the snow ridge from the roadside; Orhei sector – R21: cleaning the carriageway; Briceni sector – R11, km 6: cleaning the carriageway; Ocnița sector – R11.1: spreading anti-skid material; G33: clearing the carriageway and spreading anti-skid material.
Interventions are also taking place on roads that provide access to educational institutions and other public interest facilities.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the yellow alert continues until 9 February 20:00, and weather conditions may affect road traffic.
