
Public Services Agency digitizing cadastral archive at national level
Chisinau, Oct. 25 /MOLDPRES/- The Public Services Agency (ASP) digitizes the cadastral archive at the national level. As a result of the action, more than 72 million pages will also be available in digital format.
According to ASP, of the total number of pages, 47% have already been scanned and verified. Thus, the territorial cadastral subdivisions in the cities of Ialoveni, Ocnița, Briceni, Dondușeni, Edineț, Soroca, Florești, Anenii Noi, Drochia and Sângerei already operate with information in digital format. The remaining volume is to be processed next year.
According to the institution, the conversion of documentation is an essential condition for eliminating the territorial division of the cadastral system. This creates opportunities for new services and transparency of cadastre information. In this way, work processes are streamlined through instant access to documents, and duplicating the format ensures the protection of the integrity of the documents and increases their level of security.
The digitization of the cadastral archive is carried out within the Land Registration and Evaluation Project, financed by the International Development Association and implemented by the Public Services Agency in the period 2019-2024.
