Pupils from Moldova win medals at Balkan Mathematical Olympiad
Chisinau, 13 May /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s Olympic team has won a silver medal, three bronze ones and an honourable mention at the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad.
All pupils who got the medals and the mention study at the Chisinau-based Orizont Theoretical Lyceum.
According to the Education and Research Ministry (MEC), 131 pupils from 22 countries participated in the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad. Moldova was represented by six pupils and two teachers. The Olympiad took place in Antalya, Turkey, on 8-13 May.
