Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Municipal Council’s (CMC) education, youth and sport department (DGETS) this week verified the organization of the process of children’s nourishment in 50 kindergartens from the Moldovan capital.
The controls were focused on the observance of the daily distribution menu, in accordance with the single model menu for 10 days, identifying the quality of the food products used for nourishment, fulfilling the duties by the sorting commissions at the kindergartens, observance of the regulatory norms in the process of organizing the nourishment, etc.
Following verifications in kindergartens, decision-makers found out that the dishes cooked were of good quality, the nourishment’s organization met the rigours imposed by the authorities and the food products delivered to the institutions by economic agents is good, except of some batches of fruits and vegetables.
After the monitoring visits, DGETS decision-makers summoned the kindergartens’ managers to a meeting, during which the latter were reminded about the rigours imposed by the authorities as to the monitoring of the process of children’s nourishment. The heads of the institutions where infringements were recorded are to present explanations.
The control measure came about after information had appeared in the public space about the fact that alien things were noticed during the cooking of oats porridge. In the concerned case, the food product was replaced by another one and children received qualitative food.
