Young people from diaspora and Moldova can apply for DOR Program
Diaspora Relations Bureau has opened registrations for the 13th edition of the governmental program DOR – Diaspora*Origin*Return, dedicated to children and young people from the diaspora and Moldova. The program will be held for the first time in two series: 4-13 August and 16-25 August 2025.
Over ten days, participants will explore the Republic of Moldova and improve their Romanian communication skills through cultural, educational and sports activities.
Participation is free, with all expenses covered by the state budget, and candidates will only bear the transportation costs to and from the Republic of Moldova. Registrations are open from March 24 to April 27, 2025, and the application process differs for participants from the diaspora and those from the country.
To be eligible, candidates must be between 12 and 17 years old. Those from the diaspora must have a basic knowledge of the Romanian language, and priority in registration will be given to participants who have not previously been involved in the program.
To apply, candidates must fill out an online form and send a file to the email address dor@gov.md.
The DOR program is carried out under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Moldova and aims to strengthen the emotional, cultural, and identity links of young people from the diaspora with their country of origin.
