First tourist blog appears in south Moldova Gagauz autonomy
Chisinau, 8 July /MOLDPRES/ - The first tourist blog about the attractions of the Autonomous Territorial Unit Gagauz-Yeri (UTA Gagauz-Yeri) has appeared in the online space. The portal is managed by employees of the tourist information regional centre and the Gagauz executive body.
The blog represents a guide which, through short articles published on the site, informs about the culture traditions and art of the Gagauz destinations, which make the Gagauz autonomy famous in the world, the Art Prolin horses’ farm, famous wind mills, local wine and cuisine, etc.
„Gagauzia is an autonomy situated in southern Moldova, with about 130,000 residents, living preponderantly in rural settlements. Most local residents regard themselves ethnic Gagauz – people with Soviet past, Turkic language and Christian-Orthodox faith,” reads one of the articles on the blog, quoted by the website www.gagauzinfo.md.
The blog’s authors come up with practical advice on the destinations worth being visited, what presents can be brought from the autonomy. The information is accompanied by relevant pictures.
„In the last years, tourist blogs have become ever more popular, as preferences change and the voluminous guides and encyclopedias are no longer functional. The blog is opened also for the tourists who visited UTA Gagauz-Yeri and are willing to share their travel impressions,” a guide from the Gagauz region, Vera Garciu, has said.
The first tourist blog from the Gagauz region is managed in the Russian and English languages.
