
IT park residents employees to be able to work outside Moldova
Chisinau, March 31 /MOLDPRES/- IT park residents employees will have the right to work remotely - either in Moldova or outside the country. A draft law was approved today in the second reading by the parliament.
Also, the list of activities allowed to be carried out in IT parks will be expanded. These activities largely involve the use of specialized high-performance computing equipment, which has potential for growth, but has not yet benefited from the provisions of the IT Parks legislation.
According to official statistics, in 2022, the sales volume of the residents of the IT industry in the Republic of Moldova exceeded 7.5 billion lei, which is almost 49% more than the previous year.
