Moldova's National Food Safety Agency launches six new digital public services in partnership with Electronic Governance Agency

Economic operators and consumers will have faster and more efficient access to the services provided by the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA), thanks to the launch of six new digital public services, developed in partnership with the Electronic Governance Agency.

The new services available electronically include: the Bee Queen Race Certificate; the Quality Certificate for the Export of Reproduction Material and Planting Material; the Biological Value Certificate; the Seed Quality Certificate; the Non-commercial Movement Certificate for Companion Animals; the Health Certificate.

ANSA specialists have presented the way applications are submitted online, the examination process and the issuance of certificates electronically. The goal of these transformations is to simplify interaction with beneficiaries, reduce administrative burdens and enhance the transparency in the delivery of public services.

“With these new electronic services, ANSA becomes more accessible, transparent, and efficient. It is a natural step towards administrative reform and adaptation to the requirements of a competitive and digitalized economic environment. We want every farmer, entrepreneur or citizen to benefit from fast and reliable services without bureaucratic barriers,” ANSA General Director Radu Musteata said.

For her part, Director of the Electronic Governance Agency Nicoleta Colomeet, emphasized the added value brought by inter-institutional collaboration in the digitalization process.

“Digital transformation means not only modern technologies, but especially better services for people. Collaboration with ANSA proves that, when institutions work together, they can deliver concrete results that ease the lives of citizens and the business environment. We are committed to continuing this partnership and expanding digital solutions into as many fields as possible,” Colomeet noted.

According to the authorities, the digitalization of these services contributes to bringing ANSA closer to citizens and the business environment, facilitating quick access to necessary documents, especially for operators of the agri-food sector.

The event also provided a platform for dialogue between representatives of public institutions and beneficiaries of the digitized systems, including professional associations, which are set to integrate the new solutions into their current activities.
