Deputy premier meets Ambassador of UK to Moldova
Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minster for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic today had a meeting with Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Moldova Steven Fisher, accompanied by his staff, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The subject of the discussion was focused on the cooperation between the United Kingdom and the Reintegration Policies Bureau in the communication sector. The sides tackled topics on health, security, assistance projects on the prevention of the domestic violence, opportunities for measures to strengthen the trust between both banks of Dniester.
The interlocutors also discussed developments of the subjects included in the Berlin Plus package, including a potential round of negotiations in the 5+2 format.
Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Lesnic thanked the British government for the support provided to back Catan for the Latin-script schools from the Transnistrian region.
At the same time, the officials discussed also the future joint priorities and ideas which can be explored for 2021.
