Moldovan Prime Minister pays working visit to Ungheni district

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu's first working visit will take place today, 27 November in Ungheni district.

Munteanu will attend the reception ceremony of 14 transport units that will improve urban mobility and passenger comfort. The transportation means were purchased by the local public authority, with the support of the Government. 

Furthermore, the Prime Minister will also visit Zagarancea village to inspect the implementation of a large-scale infrastructure project in the region - the construction of Ungheni-Ungheni bridge. 

The agenda also includes a visit to two successful businesses in Ungheni district - a textile factory and a winery, where the Prime Minister will meet with business agents. Additionally, Alexandru Munteanu will have meetings with mayors of the localities in Ungheni, as well as citizens to discuss issues of interest and development opportunities for the region. 

Ungheni district comprises 33 city halls, with a total population of 75,804 inhabitants, making it the second-largest in the country, after Orhei district.
