Moldova and Switzerland to cooperate in labour and employment

The Republic of Moldova and Switzerland will cooperate in the labour and employment. Minister of Labour and Social Protection Natalia Plugaru signed a Roadmap to this effect today in Geneva.

The document provides for cooperation in areas such as social dialogue, decent work, skills development, combating undeclared work, and adapting the labour market to economic and technological transformations.

“Switzerland’s experience and expertise will help us develop better policies for employees and employers and build a more modern, more competitive labour market that is closer to European standards. We thank our Swiss partners for their trust and for the constant support offered to the Republic of Moldova,” emphasized Natalia Plugaru.

The measures included in the Roadmap for cooperation in the field of labour and employment will be implemented during the period 2026–2029.
