Deputy PM for reintegration has meeting with state secretary of Romania's Foreign Affairs Ministry
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Valeriu Chiveri today had a meeting with State Secretary for Strategic Affairs at Romania’s Foreign Affairs Ministry Ana Tinca, on a visit to Moldova.
The discussions were focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, expanding common strategic projects, in the context of advancing Moldova's European trajectory and reaffirming the privileged relationship between Moldova and Romania, based on strategic partnership, constant support and shared values.
An important element of the dialogue was the cooperation in support of the country's reintegration policy. The deputy PM highlighted the importance of joint efforts with external partners, especially Romania, in order to promote confidence-building measures between the two banks of the Dniester and to develop social and economic projects in the Security Zone settlements, by strengthening the necessary mechanisms in the process of the country's reintegration.
The state secretary reiterated Romania's commitment to continue providing full support to Moldova, through the expansion of common projects and support for the government’s goal of national reintegration, ensuring that cooperation in this area stays a constant priority in the Moldovan-Romanian relations.
