
Fact-collecting visit by Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration to Security Zone area
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca paid a fact-collecting visit to the Security Zone on Friday.
According to the Reintegration Policy Office, during the visit to the police sector headquarters in the village of Varnița and Nordic neighborhood of Bender Police Inspectorate, the Deputy Prime Minister familiarized himself with the work of the territorial subdivisions, the working conditions of employees, as well as the challenges they face in performing their duties. Additionally, issues concerning public order maintenance and ensuring citizens' security were discussed.
Moreover, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the Ombudsman's Office in the locality of Varnița. Discussions focused on respecting human rights in the Security Zone, citizens' access to public services, and monitoring cases of fundamental rights violations. Additionally, the method of resolving petitions and complaints from the region's residents was examined.
Roman Roșca was sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration on Wednesday, in the presence of President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The position of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration remained vacant after Monday, July 21, when Oleg Serebrian completed his mandate, being appointed as our country's Ambassador to Turkey.
