The Republic of Moldova will appoint new ambassadors to the Republic of Turkey and the United States of America. The parliamentary committee on foreign policy and European integration today approved positive consultative opinions for the agreed candidacies.
Thus, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian, responsible for Reintegration, is to be appointed as ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Turkey. Vladislav Kulminski is to be appointed as ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the United States of America.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi said that the appointment of the new ambassadors reflects Moldova's commitment to professional and well-prepared diplomacy.
“Both Mr. Oleg Serebrian and Mr. Vladislav Kulminski are professionals with extensive experience in foreign affairs and public policy. We have in front of us diplomats and experts with over two decades of activity, who have contributed to promoting the country's image on the international stage.
