Chisinau, 3 January /MOLDPRES/ - The candidate nominated for the office of prime minister, Ion Sturza, today presented the candidates for the posts of ministers. Also today, the candidates for the posts of ministers signed a declaration on their own responsibility on meeting the criteria of integrity.

According to Sturza, the next cabinet will be technocrat, made up of integral people and patriots. ''Even if many describe this process as lacking finality, I believe that it is a change of the country. I wanted a government that would be an expression of the nation's will and its representation in parliament, but Moldova now is not in a period of flourishing of the democracy, but in a deep crisis, first of all, a moral one. For this reason, I present a technocrat government, which is my great responsibility,'' Ion Sturza said.

The team of Ion Sturza includes: Victor Chirila for the pst of deputy prime minister, foreign and European integration minister; Ion Stavila - deputy prime minister for reintegration; Dona Scola - deputy prime minister, labour, social protection and family minister; Ion Munteanu - finance minister; Marin Ciobanu - economics minister; Stanislav Pavlovschi - justice minister; Alexandru Stoianoglo - interior minister; Viorel Cibotaru - defence minister; Svetlana Dogotaru - regional development and constructions minister; Alexandru Slusari - agriculture and food industry minister; Oleg Tofilat - transports and roads infrastructure minister; Andrei Ursache - environment minister; Loretta Handrabura - education minister; Veaceslav Reabcinschi - culture minister; Ala Nemerenco - health minister; Dumitru Alaiba - youth and sport minister; Alexandru Machedon - information technology and communications minister.

On 4 January, the parliament will hold a special meeting, to discuss the government's action programme and the list of ministers.
