Another 32,760 doses of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine reached Chisinau
Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/- Moldova today received another 32,760 doses of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine. It is part of the seventh instalment of the total 700,830 doses that was purchased by the Ministry of Health through the Office for the Management of External Assistance Programs.
According to the Ministry of Health, the 32,760 doses have been deposited with the National Agency for Public Health and are to be distributed proportionally in all vaccination points in the country. Thus, ANSP has got 141,570 doses.
In total, the Republic of Moldova has so far got 367,380 doses of Pfizer vaccine. Through the COVAX platform - 125,190 doses, donation from Romania - 100,620 doses, acquisitions - 141,570 doses.
So far, 746,866 people in the Republic of Moldova have completed the full vaccination schedule, and since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 1,352,754 doses of vaccine have been administered.
