Apa-Canal Chisinau company, Public Health Center monitor water quality in city
Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/- Apa-Canal Chisinau company and Municipal Center for Public Health monitor water quality in the city's drinking water networks. The analysis shows that the water in the central network is drinkable and meets all public health rules to be consumed.
Apa-Canal Chisinau company monitors daily the drinking water quality in the municipal aqueduct, checking 25 physico-chemical and bacteriological parameters. The specialists of the water supplier, together with those from the Municipal Center of Public Health and the other environmental institutions collaborate to maintain a superior quality of drinking water.
According to the announcement of the drinking water supplier, in August the company specialists took about 16 thousand water samples. Water samples are taken from the Dniester River, water reception points at the treatment stages at the treatment plant in the town. Chisinau and the Dniester Water Station, drinking water tanks, the centralized distribution network of the municipality, artesian wells and those with local source, as well as newly built aqueducts, which subsequently connect to the centralized municipal system.
The results of this monitoring show that the water in the central network of the municipality is drinkable and meets all public health rules to be consumed.
