As many as 1,299 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 9 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 7,726 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,299 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Three out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 305,977 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 21 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (3 physicians, 11 medical assistants, 7 auxiliary staff employees).
As many as 1,463 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 209 are in extremely serious condition and 29 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 8,550 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,501 are under supervision at home.
Another 1,129 people have been treated. As many as 280,080 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 23 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 7,002 people have died of coronavirus in all.
