
As many as 138 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,854 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 138 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 254, 213 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), no medical employee was recorded among all cases registered.
As many as 1,021 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 124 are in extremely serious condition (20 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 1,266 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,393 are under supervision at home.
Another 247 people have been treated. As many as 245,510 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another ten deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,053 people have died of coronavirus in all.
