As many as 293 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 29 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,687 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 293 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Eight out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 375,358 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 4 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (1 physician, 3 medical assistants).
As many as 747 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom122 are in extremely serious condition and 23 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 1,861 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 11,552 are under supervision at home.
Another 399 people have been treated. As many as 361,724 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 22 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,667 people have died of coronavirus in all.
