As many as 456 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,331 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 456 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Three out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 370,459 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 19 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (3 physicians, 12 medical assistants and 4 auxiliary staff employees).
As many as 1,089 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 168 are in extremely serious condition and 36 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 2,764 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 8,427 are under supervision at home.
Another 636 people have been treated. As many as 355,447 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 21 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,414 people have died of coronavirus in all.
