Firemen intervened in 94 risk situations in last three days

Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/- During three days of rest, rescuers and firemen performed 94 interventions to eliminate the consequences of risk situations.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, firemen and rescuers intervened to extinguish the fires, unblocking and rescue actions.

A fire in which the intervention of firefighters was necessary took place on the morning of 11 May. According to the first information, the roof of a house in Orhei caught fire. Two teams of rescuers intervened on the spot, who managed to locate the burn without spreading it. No one was injured in the fire. The circumstances of the case are to be determined.

Another case in which the intervention of firemen was necessary took place in Mereni locality, Anenii Noi district. A fire engulfed part of the construction of an abandoned kindergarten. Two teams of firefighters worked on the spot. No casualties were reported in the fire. The circumstances of the case are established.
