
Foreign ciizens to be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at Moldovan vaccination centres
Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Health Ministry today informed that it would give possibility to all foreign citizens to be immunized against COVID-19 at the vaccination centres from Moldova.
According to the ministry, the decision was taken following requests received on behalf of foreign citizens on visit to Moldova. Their immunization will be made with the available doses of vaccine Moderna (Spikevax), donated to Moldova through the COVAX platform.
Thus, starting from 10 February this year till a new notification, all categories of foreign citizens can be immunized for free against COVID-19 with the Moderna (Spikevax) vaccine at the vaccination centres from Moldova by presenting only the identity card. Foreigners’ personal data will be introduced in the automated information system, Register of record of vaccination against COVID-19; thus, they will be able to download the vaccination certificate by accessing the platform www.vaccinare.gov.md.
As many as 1, 982, 562 doses of vaccine have been administered in Moldova so far.
