It will be possible to examine and settle infringements electronically
Chisinau, Nov 14 /MOLDPRES/- It will be possible to examine and settle contraventions in electronic form. In this context, a simple electronic signature will be used.
A draft law on the matter was examined today at a meeting of the legal commission on rules and immunities.
The document was drafted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and envisages supplementing the Contravention Code with rules allowing the documentation, examination and settlement of contraventions, including in electronic form. Simple electronic signature will be used in this context.
The legislative amendments will help citizens, including those in rural areas or with reduced mobility.
At present, employees from 44 public authorities and institutions have the powers to detect and examine infringements.
