Moldovan pupils won five medals at International Science Olympiad
Chisinau, Dec. 22 / MOLDPRES /- The Olympic team of the Republic of Moldova won five bronze medals at the International Science Olympics for Juniors, held in online format on December 12-20.
The medals were obtained by Leo Sprincean, Republican Theoretical High School Aristotle, Chisinau; Bianca – Sofia Leahu, Prometeu-Prim High School of Creativity and Invention, Chisinau; Nikita Chiosa, Da Vinci High School, Chisinau; Iulia Teleucă; Daniil Miscenco, both from the Orizont Theoretical High School, Chisinau.
The Olympics were organized by the United Arab Emirates. The competition was attended by 324 students from 70 countries, with Moldova being represented by six students and three teachers.
The Ministry of Education and Research and the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment thank the members of the Republican Olympic Science Council for their dedication and involvement in organizing the competition and preparing the national Olympic team, as well as the State University of Moldova, which provided space and technical support for the tests.
