Moldovan teachers with higher didactic degree to no longer have to reconfirm it
Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - The teachers who during their career have got the higher didactic degree will no longer have to reconfirm it. The degree will be valid throughout their career. The Education and Research Ministry (MEC) today announced the new rule, which is aimed at de-bureacratizing the education system.
The action is enforced, after the authorities made amendments to the Regulation on the attestation of teachers from the general education, vocational education and at the territorial services of psycho-pedagogical assistance.
Education and Research Minister Dan Perciun said that, through this modification of the Regulation, the authorities were set to remove the useless pressure which the system had been so far imposing to the teachers who had to periodically reconfirm this degree. ‘’This a clear signal that we want to support the teachers and create a more predictable, more respectful and less bureaucratic professional environment,’’ Minister Dan Perciun also said.
