Over 450 diplomas issued by Tiraspol University apostille
Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/- In the three years since the implementation of the Protocol Decision of 25 November 2017, the apostilles of the Republic of Moldova have been applied on 456 neutral model diplomas, issued by the Taras Shevchenko University of Tiraspol.
According to the Reintegration Policy Bureau, the most requested countries in which the apostille diplomas were to be presented are the following: Italy - 90, USA - 70, Bulgaria - 50, Israel - 43, Poland - 40, France - 30, Austria - 20, Great Britain - 17, Spain - 17, Netherlands - 14, Belgium - 11, Slovenia - 10, Greece - 6, Albania - 6, Switzerland - 5.
Apostille offers graduates from the Transnistrian region the chance to continue their studies or to engage in employment abroad, being possible to use them only in the states that have acceded to the Hague Convention.
At the same time, the Bureau reiterates that the apostille applied to the neutral diploma does not imply recognition or equivalence with the national model diploma.
