Over 7,000 students participate in PISA 2025
On 17 March - 16 May 2025, the Ministry of Education and Research, in collaboration with the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment, is conducting PISA 2025 (Programme for International Student Assessment). This edition involves over 7,000 students from 275 educational institutions.
According to the ministry, the assessment is conducted digitally, and the collected data is stored on a specialized international platform. During the period from May to July 2025, the tests will be evaluated by experts in reading, mathematics and science.
PISA Test is organized every three years under the aegis of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and aims to measure the competencies of students aged 15-16 in the three core areas: reading, mathematics and science, as well as in an innovative area - Learning in a digital world.
Moldova is participating for the fifth time in this international assessment. This year, over 90 countries worldwide are participating in PISA Test.
