Chisinau, July 21. /MOLDPRES/- A new generation of defenders of the rule of law has graduated from Ștefan cel Mare Academy. In a festive ceremony, the 135 representatives received their bachelor's degrees.
Minister of Internal Affairs Adrian Efros was present at the celebration, who addressed a congratulatory message to the graduates. "You are the generation that went through the experience of managing the migrant crisis. Your responsible contribution has carried the name of domestic affairs throughout the European continent. You have shown courage and virtue. We know we can count on you. You were involved with your colleagues in ensuring public order and security during the European Political Community Summit. Together with you, we bring Europe closer to us, here, at home", he said.
For his part, academy rector Dinu Ostavciuc urged the graduates to continue their master's and doctoral studies.
The celebration continued with the awarding of diplomas to the 135 graduates.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in recent years, the Academy has gone through an extensive process of modernization and restructuring - from the substantial revision of the curriculum and the extensive implementation of modern training methods to the improvement of logistical conditions.
