Qualitative vaccines might be freely sold also in drug stores in Moldova
Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/ - In the conditions of the exponential increase in the number of requests for antiviral and anti-COVID-19 vaccines, decision-makers established the risk groups due to have priority in the vaccination process. At the same time, it is important that the state ensures the access to services and medication for all citizens,, the director of the Medicine and Medical Devices Agency, Eremei Priseajniuc, has said in an interview given exclusively with the MOLDPRES Agency.
"A more flexible, competitive, cheaper market for citizens can be ensured also through the commercialization of qualitative vaccines in drug stores, just as it happens in the European countries,’’ Priseajniuc said.
The selling of vaccines in drug stores was banned under an order by the Health Ministry from 2005.
Presently, the state’s institutions negotiate or already have agreements with more international organizations and pharmaceutical companies, in order to provide the needed quantity of anti-flu and antri-Covid-19 vaccines for Moldova’s citizens.
